When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong

I think you did the right thing. Years from now, I think you'll look back and be glad you didn't bend your values. Their loss.

Can't figure out why she had to tell you that "right away". Annoying. Like it couldn't wait 'til the next day, when you were AT work?
I would say that's hard to believe, but unfortunately it's not. Congratulations of bringing 2 years of competence to your students, something that is surely lacking in the administration. I have a few students this year who flunked last year and are excelling this year, which proved to me that giving students what they earn really is in their best interest. I'm sure you'll be missed.
Im a fuppie/pbhaer past your time (class of 2012) but its been pretty inspiring reading your blog and i look forward to reading more about what youll do in the future. onward.
Chimaobi, you know there's a US History position open at Simmons High, right? You'll have to compete against a former shop teacher for the job, though, if you want it.

Thanks, Jeremy. I can only hope to do what's right for the youngans...whether they realize it or not.

Seth! Enjoy the community that is FUP and the growth and perspective that comes with PBHA work to the fullest. I miss it all. And hug Gene and Maria (and Steve...if you're bold enough) for me!

Austin, I dunno about staying in this part of the Delta. I'm really looking to go elsewhere and have a different professional experience. However, due to my love of living in Humphreys County and the close proximity of Simmons perhaps it's an option to entertain.... Thanks for the heads up!
